Comprehensive Financial Planning
Our Comprehensive Financial Planning Process
A focused 8-week engagement built around three meetings — designed to take you from financial questions to a clear written plan and confident next steps.
1 Week 1–2
Discovery Meeting
We start by talking through your financial goals, your current situation, and what's keeping you up at night. You'll share your accounts, income, and key documents, and we'll map out what a successful plan looks like for you.
2 Week 5–6
Plan Presentation
We deliver your personalized 15+ page comprehensive financial plan and walk through every recommendation in detail — retirement, tax strategy, investments, insurance, estate, and more. You leave the meeting with a written roadmap.
3 Week 8
Accountability & Follow-Up
We review the action items you've completed, work through any questions that came up while implementing the plan, and finalize next steps. This is where the plan becomes real progress — not just a document on a shelf.
See What a Comprehensive Financial Plan Looks Like
Wondering what you actually receive when you work with us? Below are three sample financial plans built with the same template, structure, and depth as the plans we deliver to clients. Each sample is based on a fictional household chosen to represent a different planning situation — so you can see how a comprehensive plan addresses the specific challenges you may be facing.

The Hendricks Family
A high school principal and an elementary teacher planning to retire together in eight years. Demonstrates how TRS pensions, 403(b)/457(b) plans, and the recently restored Social Security benefits work together.

- Replacing high-fee 403(b) variable annuities
- 529 plans for two daughters
Pre-Retirees

- Multi-year Roth conversion strategy
- IRMAA bracket management
- Portfolio simplification (23 funds to 4)
- Donor-Advised Fund & QCD planning
Young Professionals

- RSU diversification & tax withholding
- S-Corp solo 401(k) optimization
- Student loan strategy & PSLF preservation
These sample plans feature fictional households created for illustration. All figures, projections, and recommendations are hypothetical and should not be considered advice for any specific individual. Your own plan will be built around your unique goals, accounts, and circumstances.
